When you are in class 9, you must focus on your studies as you will have your boards next year. Also, according to students, whatever you will read in class 9, will be helpful to you in class 11. So, take it seriously and read all the subjects thoroughly.

Here are some of the tips to score good marks in class 9. Let’s have a look at them-

  1. Solve Sample Papers:

You will have to solve sample papers to score better marks in the class 8 examination. Sample papers are beneficial in establishing command over the subjects. There are sample papers for all the subjects in the market. For example- class 9 chemistry sample papers, biology sample papers, maths sample papers, physics sample papers, English sample papers, etc. The sample contains a variety of questions and solutions not only from NCERT books but also from other side books. So, when you solve the papers, you will get exposed to different questions that might be asked in the examination. Also, it will help to establish a better grip over all the subjects, and as a result, you will be able to score good marks.

  1. Time Management

There are many subjects you have to deal with, and you cannot escape from any of them. So to have a command of all the subjects, you must read every subject. It is not possible to read every subject in one day. So! Learn to manage time. It is not essential to give all your time to study, but you should learn to manage time effectively. You can spend 2 hours of your time on each subject and try to read only 2 subjects in a day. For example, if you are reading Math and English on Monday, then read Science and Hindi on Tuesday and so on. In this way, you can effectively manage your time.

  1. Develop a Habit of Writing Answers:

There is a chance that you might forget things at the time of examination. It may be because of the confusion that has been created in your mind by learning so many things. Only mugging up things will not work at all, and you need to opt for another technique, i.e., writing. Yes! Introduce the habit of writing things whenever you are learning something. Once you are done with mugging up things, then write it 2-3 times until it fits in your brain. When you write, you also learn things. So! It’s better to develop the habit of writing.

  1. Prioritize topics and concepts

: it is not required to learn everything you read in your books and notes. You have to be innovative and work smartly to score good marks in the examination. You have to realize that everything written in the books is not meant for learning purposes. Some things are meant for leaving purposes. Make a list of essential things and topics you considered necessary when reading or the one your teachers have asked you to mark as required. Keeping essential points will help you at the time of revision and limit your content. So! Make sure you work smartly.

  1. Focus on NCERT:

since you are in class 9, you need not learn things from various books. Reference books and other books are helpful for candidates appearing for boards. But! In class 9, all you need to focus on are NCERT books and your class notes, as all questions come from them only. Please do not waste your time reading other reference books as it might cause you trouble and lots of confusion.

Final Words

There is a big myth among students that class 9 is challenging to pass. But! The truth is just the opposite. It’s as easy as learning rhombus. So! Apply the right strategy. Follow the tips as mentioned earlier.
